XETRA 690 Tijuana, Mexico was the first non-USA AM/MW station for which I received a QSL card. They would blast into Spokane over top CBU Vancouver with their “Beautiful Music” format. Fifty years ago in January 1970, they responded with the QSL card seen here. If I remember right, I sent the report simply to “X-TRA Music, Tijuana, Mexico” and the reply was postmarked in San Diego, California The station on the channel now is a Chinese/Asian format using the call letters of XEWW.
